Little Ouse Moorings
Moorings
Located on the junction with the Great Ouse and the Little Ouse River at Brandon Creek our alongside moorings provide an excellent base for you to explore the Anglian Waterways and beyond. With panoramic rural views of the surrounding Fenland our moorings offer a quiet, unspoilt place for you to moor and enjoy your Narrowboat, Widebeam or Cruiser.
From our Moorings there are miles of lock-free cruising along the rivers Little Ouse, Wissey, Lark, the Cam and the Great Ouse from Denver to Earith.
Little Ouse Moorings is 9 miles north of the historic city of Ely, a leisurely 2.5hour cruise. Cruising further upstream will take you to Cambridge, Earith, St Ives, Huntingdon, St Neots and Bedford. If you want to travel further afield then a 1.5hour cruise downstream will take you to Denver Sluice where you can cross the Middle Level Navigations and onto the Canal Network.
There is turning for boats up to 65ft (approx) at the moorings with longer boats being able to turn at Little Ouse village/Brandon Bank approximately 20 minutes upstream.
Although we mainly offer long term moorings, we are usually able to accommodate those who require moorings for short term/winter or overnight use. Moorings can be paid annually in advance or Monthly payments by standing order.
Facilities include: Car Parking, Water, Rubbish Disposal and Elsan Disposal.
